Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to schedule an appointment to speak with you?

Yes. I charge a consultation fee of $180. If you decide to retain me, this consultation fee will be credited towards the retainer fee.

How much are your fees?

The fees I will charge will depend on the type of services you hire me to provide. Unlike many law firms, I charge flat fees for all of my services as opposed to charging by the hour. This enables you to know with certainty at the outset how much my services will cost you, allowing you to budget accordingly. Please note, however, that there may be other costs, such as filing fees, special delivery costs and other charges, which could be associated with the services I provide. These fees, costs and charges are in addition to the fees I charge. Clients are responsible for paying all such additional charges.

Other attorneys with whom I have worked charged me for all sorts of things like photocopies, phone calls or postal charges. Will you also be charging for such costs?

No. Other than filing fees, charges assessed by government agencies or other entities or special delivery shipping such as overnight delivery or certified mail, you will not be charged separately for photocopies, long distance calls or regular postal charges. I will, to the best of my ability, inform you beforehand what these filing fees, charges or expenses will be so that you will be able to budget accordingly. Unless I advise you otherwise, charges for photocopies, long distance calls, regular postal charges or other administrative costs, will be included in my retainer fee.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I am willing to work with clients on payment plans.

What methods of payment do you accept?

I accept Visa or Mastercard, cash, personal checks, money orders and certified checks as methods of payment.
